Keel & Curley Winery Wins an A+
The Beautiful Brown Girls enjoyed another fabulous event in Plant City, FL. It was a busy day on the farm. There were two weddings, one baby shower, and a farmer's market with lots of vendors on that day. We did not know that they'd be so busy when we arrived, but we forged on. We began with a wine tasting in their private room. All of the wines tasted amazing. My favorite was all of them, but if I had to choose, I'd select the Semi-Dry Blueberry wine. It was sweet but not too sweet. It was light, fruity, and smooth. Perfect, really. I could have taken down that entire bottle.

After our tasting, we walked the property through the farmer's market to a tractor ride where our tour of the winery began. It was just a short hop to the wine-making rooms, so I am pretty sure we could have walked the distance. I guess the tractor was appropriate as we were on a farm. Our tour guide explained the process in usual form. Nothing too exciting. Then, we hopped back on the tractor to take our short ride back to the main building for lunch. Good thing we secured our table before our tasting. The wait to eat was over 2 hours, but we were seated promptly when we returned from our tour. I opted for a cheeseburger and I wasn't disappointed. Glancing around the table, I noticed that everyone had pretty much cleared their plates.
Overall, a great time. Hopefully, it won't be so busy upon my future return. I give this one a 5 out of 5 ... well, maybe I should take a point off because the water shut off right before we sat down to eat. The facility was without water for at least 30-minutes. Not sure how our chefs were using SafeServe hygiene principles .... Anyway, we prayed, ate, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. Next stop, Friendsgiving at Jackson's Bistro in Tampa!
